Weight Loss Tips
Drink Water – We can’t tell you enough how important drinking plenty of water is daily. Fat cannot be metabolized properly without an adequate supply of water in your body.
Eat Healthy – YOU CANNOT OUT TRAIN A BAD DIET!! There is nothing worse than working out hard all week long only to mess it up in seconds by what you ate! Eating healthy is 80% and working out is 20% of your weight loss journey.
Sweat Often – WORK OUT!! Now just because exercising is only 20% of your journey doesn’t mean it is any less important as eating healthy! Exercising helps us build lean muscles and endurance!
Don’t Beat Yourself Up – Remember that this is a journey, so you will learn as you go! Don’t beat yourself up when you decide to eat that cake when you know it won’t help or the scale decides to go up a pound or two. Just learn from your mistakes and keep moving forward.
Enjoy your Life – Life is not only about losing weight! Do not let this journey take up all of your thoughts and time. This is a lifestyle change, but life still must go on. Make time to hang out with friends and family, but be mindful of the foods you eat!
Seek God First – Start each day in prayer, asking for guidance with the foods eat, to help with escaping temptations with food, and the strength to exercise. “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” (Matthew 6:33)
Accept Yourself– Accept yourself where you are now, but love yourself enough to progress on your weight loss journey! You are enough to get this journey started and to finish it!
