Malisa: January 2019 Results

img_2949

I started off the year at a horrible 231.6 pounds! I can’t say that I was really surprised because I had been eating more than enough for the holidays but I hadn’t been on the scale in forever so I didn’t know what the scale would say. I stepped on my trainer’s scale on January 1st and when it read 231.6 I just kind of shrugged and knew what I had to do.

I already know how to lose the weight, now it was time to put my knowledge the test. I had to stop overeating, eat nutritious rich foods and workout at least 4 days a week. I am proud to say that I have stayed the course. I have been very cautious about my food choices, going to the gym five days a week and drinking water instead of going back for seconds.

It has all paid off! I have lost 10 pounds this month alone and I am so excited to see how much I will lose in the months to come. If you have been reading this blog for any amount of time, you will know that I have been struggling in the weight reduction department. The second half of 2018, I gained and lost the same 30 pounds!

My current goal is to be 199 by April 1st!

I know that my goal is a bit extreme but I need extreme goals in order to keep me on track. I lost almost half of the weight in the first month! Now I know it won’t be this easy as I continue to lose weight but I will keep my goal and work to meet it!

January has come and gone and I am happy with where my weight is today! I look forward to continuing my weight loss journey. I will be at my first major goal weight (again) in no time!

  1. First off I’m so proud of you for getting back on track with your journey and not giving up! I like that you said you know how to lose weight and that’s so powerful because plenty of people really don’t know how and I was one of those people for a long while. I think you can meet your goal in April because you have already shown that you can get it done! I would suggest fasting, I’m telling you I have never had faster fat loss than when I started fasting and really getting into longer fasts of 24 hours or more. It seems crazy but those really target fat loss and when you workout as much as you do the compound effect is fantastic. Let me know if I can help!

    1. Thanks you so much Alexx 😩 I am not sure if I can fast for 24 hours because I have to eat 😋 but I will try to fast for longer than I normally do. I usually fast for 12-14 hours and I will see if I can fast for 16-18. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks so much for caring and helping!

      1. Absolutely, fasting is just like anything else it has to be practiced but I’ll bet you will be surprised at how long you can really do it! I’m proud of you and yes please keep me posted on how it’s going for you!

      2. 16 hours is fantastic your body got a ton of benefit from that. I know for most of us we want the scale to go down but the benefits to your body were amazing. You helped your immune sysytem, helped regulate your blood sugar and truly helped fortify your microbiom! Keep up the great work I’m proud of you!
