I started off the year at a horrible 231.6 pounds! I can’t say that I was really surprised because I had been eating more than enough for the holidays but I hadn’t been on the scale in forever so I didn’t know what the scale would say. I stepped on my trainer’s scale on January 1st and when it read 231.6 I just kind of shrugged and knew what I had to do.
I already know how to lose the weight, now it was time to put my knowledge the test. I had to stop overeating, eat nutritious rich foods and workout at least 4 days a week. I am proud to say that I have stayed the course. I have been very cautious about my food choices, going to the gym five days a week and drinking water instead of going back for seconds.
It has all paid off! I have lost 10 pounds this month alone and I am so excited to see how much I will lose in the months to come. If you have been reading this blog for any amount of time, you will know that I have been struggling in the weight reduction department. The second half of 2018, I gained and lost the same 30 pounds!
My current goal is to be 199 by April 1st!
I know that my goal is a bit extreme but I need extreme goals in order to keep me on track. I lost almost half of the weight in the first month! Now I know it won’t be this easy as I continue to lose weight but I will keep my goal and work to meet it!
January has come and gone and I am happy with where my weight is today! I look forward to continuing my weight loss journey. I will be at my first major goal weight (again) in no time!
