Walnut Brownies

Raw, vegan walnut brownies are a new fav dessert of mine! I ate these brownies guilt free and plan on making another batch soon. Keep reading for details:

Ingredients:
2 cup of walnuts
1 cup of pitted dates
Dash of Himalayan salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup raw honey or agave if vegan
3 Tbsp cacao powder

Toppings (Optional):
Bananas
Apples
Peanut butter

Instructions:
Add walnuts, dates and cacao powder to food processor and be sure not to over blend the walnuts. It is best to stop mixing when the walnuts are still chunky.

Pour contents into mixing bowl and add vanilla, honey and salt. Mix all ingredients and transfer to a baking pan pre-lined with parchment paper (parchment paper is not necessary but I HATE cleaning dishes). Evenly spread brownie mixture throughout pan and freeze for at least two hours.

After two hours cut brownies into pieces and eat!!! Be sure to place any leftovers in the freezer until you are ready to eat again. I wouldn’t leave them in the freezer over a week.
