NO Money…NO Problem


Everyone thinks that in order to lose weight, it takes a lot of money. But as a recent college graduate, I am here to tell you how losing weight is possible without a lot of cash. Here are a few free/cheap ideas I use to help me lose weight.

  1. MyFitness Pal

This app helps you to stay accountable with what you are eating. You put in how many calories you need to eat to lose weight and log in everything you eat! For weight loss, diet takes up 80%, while exercising takes up 20%! YOU CANNOT OUT-TRAIN A BAD DIET!

  1. Couch to 5k

I love this app!! I’m not the best at running, but Couchto5K really starts off slow and works you up to running 3 miles. You just have to run 3 times a week!! Using mother nature as your gym is as cheap as you can get it!

  1. YouTube

I go to YouTube for a lot of my workouts! Strength training, cardio, HITT, or dance workouts, you name it YouTube has it. No more boring routines. Here are some of my favorite channels:

  • Millionaire Hoy
  • Beach Body Fitness
  • HASfit
  1. Dumbbells

I suggest buying a pair of dumbbells (5, 8, or 10 lbs.). They will be used in conjunction with the YouTube videos!

We have to take out all the excuses that stops us from starting our weight loss journey because it is only hindering us. My challenge for you this week is to be honest with yourself and write out the excuses you use for not starting your weight loss journey and give reasons why these excuses are just not good enough.
